Free Strategy Game Powered by C&C: Tiberian Sun Engine got new singleplayer campaign

Built on the foundations of the Command & Conquer series, the free-to-play RTS The Dawn of the Tiberium Age has received a new version that introduces additional maps for multiplayer and co-op modes.

The project is developing rapidly all the time. The latest version of the game bears the number 12.0. In addition to numerous bug and balance fixes, the most important addition is the introduction of a new single-player campaign entitled Covert Revolt.

The game has been updated to version 11.5, giving the project four new multiplayer maps many bug fixes.In recent months, The Dawn of the Tiberium Age has progressing at a rapid pace. Among other things, the authors added new AI options, additional gameplay modes and a sizable set of maps for multiplayer skirmishes.

We lived to see a new version of the project The Dawn of the Tiberium Age, a free fan-made RTS built on an improved version of the engine powering Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun. The new edition is marked with the number 10.0. It took the creators 16 long years to get to this point. However, they do not think to stop now and will continue to develop their project.

Recall that The Dawn of the Tiberium Age brings the factions fromTiberium and Red Alert into one universe, while introducing a ton of new elements and gameplay enhancements. The creators have prepared a sizable set of new story campaigns, standalone missions and maps for multiplayer mode. The graphics have also been tweaked.

  3. The mod has also gained seven new missions for co-op mode - all played from GDI perspective.
  4. In addition, winter maps have been enriched with many new visual elements, such as rivers, waterfalls, bridges, rocks and additional road types. These have been implemented partially on the old battlefields, but will mainly be used in future updates.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that The Dawn of the Tiberium Age is a completely standalone project and you will not need any installment of Command & Conquer. This is possible because many years ago Electronic Arts made some of the games in the series available for free, and this fan project was built on elements taken from them
