The story takes place several hundred years in the future, on Earth, which has been destroyed by disastrous beams of solar energy and radiation. You play as person raised by former shelter dwellers, who decided to rebuild the human civilization. The game utilizes the first person's view and features an open world.

The game was developed by Polish studio 11 bit, known for an original strategy game series Anomaly. The game gives you control over a group of civilians trying to survive in a ruined city, where the biggest enemies are such problems as starvation and shortage of medicines.

Max Payne is a third-person perspective action game developed by the Finnish studio Remedy Entertainment. The protagonist is an undercover DEA agent whose task is to locate the source of Valkyr - a deadly new drug. Personally, Max is also seeking revenge against the murderers of his family. He falls victim to a conspiracy and gets accused of killing his supervisor. The creators were inspired by the crime stories from the 1940s and 1950s, Pulp novels, and the movie, The Matrix.

The title was produced by Ron Gilbert and the development team from Double Fine studio (Psychonauts, Brutal Legend, Stacking and others). The action of The Cave takes place in the title cave, full of secrets and traps. The player directs the actions of a group of three heroes who roam the corridors of the cave in search of an enigmatic "something". (the goals vary depending on the chosen team composition).

The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt lacks a main storyline driving the gameplay. The action takes place in an extensive, open-world environment recreating a large part of the Caribbean. The player controls a captain of a pirate ship, whose aim is to gain fame and riches at sea.

After a few games featuring slightly cyberpunkish settings, Final Fantasy IX returns to the roots of the series, where we are once again met by knights, princesses, and dragons. Players take the role of a young thief, who, together with a company of other heroes, faces the evil queen Brahna, who is responsible for the outbreak of a great war.

A mobile RPG that supports augmented reality technology, created by Niantic studio in conjunction with The Pokemon Company. The application uses smartphones’ and tablets’ cameras to register the surrounding reality, then include additional, three-dimensional objects on it. We searching for Pokemon by following the instructions from our GPS. Other elements of gameplay aren’t much different from what we’ve seen in other entries in the series.

A mobile RPG game based on the free-to-play business model. Netrunner takes us to the cyberpunk universe of the tabletop game Android: Netrunner. Players act as hackers, who steal the classified data of powerful companies. This takes place in virtual reality that is so closely connected to users’ brains that the most effective defense systems can turn an unfortunate hacker into vegetable.
