The Mortem modification introduces a much more realistic character death system to the game, taking into account less conventional situations. Thanks to it, Sims transitioning to the afterlife won't transform into urns and tombstones, but will instead leave behind real bodies.
A professional funeral home or one of characters controlled by us can take care of them, as long as they aren't caught in the act.
